Brian Blakeley

Brian brings over 30 years of experience in complex transactions to Blakeley Commercial Real Estate through his work as a practicing Texas attorney and real estate agent. (Although still an active member of the State Bar of Texas, Brian does not provide legal representation to BCRE clients.)   Brian focuses on both project leasing and tenant representation of office, retail and industrial users.

Brian grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Churchill High School. He received his undergraduate degree and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin before attending Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas.   After graduating from law school, Brian began practicing with the San Antonio law firm of Groce Locke and Hebdon.   Later, he became a founding shareholder in Ball and Weed and then started his own law firm in 1994.   As an attorney, the focus of Brian’s practice was civil litigation in Texas state and federal courts.

Brian began transitioning into the brokerage side of real estate in 2008.   He now devotes the majority of his professional time to sales and lease transactions, with an emphasis on tenant representation and the leasing of a 426,000 square foot mixed use portfolio.   Brian also manages farm and timber real estate holdings for Blakeley Holdings, LP.
